Our Main character, modeled

so, a little late on this, but I still wanna gush about this.

Our Main character for our Game TeslaQ (name pending) has been fully modeled, by yours truly.

I had made the turn around pictures for the guy too:

we were shooting for something “relatively” simple, and sorta space-y for our game. EVE from Wall-E & Baymax form Big Hero 6 ended up being inspiration for that kind of sleek ipod-esque, design.

Of course, we wanted our own little touches to it, so mixing a bit of new and old in it, with the CRT style TV head, and just a tad of human like anatomy in the torso (w/ the back spine, the rocket “shoulder blades” and what turned into a sort of framing collar bones), to make it our own.

As said, I am super proud of this guy. After finishing him, I looked up historical polygon counts, to get a frame of reference of where our guy landed. turns out, its pretty smack dab in the middle of the 6th Gen of consoles, in terms of polys. which is super cool, since most of the games inspirations come from the 5th Gen, so the fact I over shoot it, in terms of quality, is pretty amazing for me.
